Creativity has been a staple component of my personality since I was young. At about 5, I began a strange habit. My father even recommended I see a doctor for this new behavior. You see, I seemed to take a liking to talking to my toes. Yup. I’d sit on the couch and have a conversation with my feet.
You might be asking why I would ever even think of admitting to this fact. Well, my Mom agreed to ask the doctor why I might be talking to my toes (I was going anyway… it wasn’t like it was a special trip or anything). You know what his answer was?”It’s a sign of creativity.”So there you have it. Now, while I no longer talk to my little “piggies,” I do still enjoy being creative. I’ve always loved making things with my hands (not with my feet, though).And ever since I was a young toe-talking tot, I’ve loved all things paper.
The stationery aisle in a store was always my very favorite and I’m still a sucker for a pretty journal. So it just made sense that I should become a papercrafter.Thank you for visiting my blog and not passing judgement on my crazy behavior. Someday, I may even tell you about my imaginary blue squirrel. But that’s a whole ‘nother story for another day.
