Howdy friends! Hope you enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend. I actually had a great Saturday meeting some new friends at the second annual Cape Cod Mini Maker Faire at the Cape Cod Community College yesterday.
And today was a nice relaxing day… caught up on some cleaning, took a nice nap and have been thinking about doing a little stamping but considering it’s 8:30 p.m. and I haven’t ventured to the craft table yet — that’s probably not going to happen!
Instead, I thought I’d pop on here and say hello as it’s been a while…
So did you hear? Stampin’ Up is releasing it’s brand new 2015-2016 Idea Book and Catalog on Tuesday, June 2nd! Just two days away (well, really just a little over one day now)! Do you have the new catalog yet? If not, let me know and I’ll send you one…
Today I’m sharing a card made with a stamp set that didn’t get much love from me over the last couple of years (I hate when that happens!). This one is called “Four Frames” and features four really great images that can all be punched out with the decorative label punch (one of my MUST haves!). You can even buy the stamp set and punch as a bundle and save 15%! For this one I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Wild Wasabi and Bermuda Bay markers. Then I pulled out my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the “happy birthday” sentiment. That is really such a cool tool and really easy once you get the hang of it.
Also on this card is the Fancy Fan embossing folder — that one is going bye-bye, too so if you need it for your collection be sure to grab it now in my online store. You may want to check out the Clearance Rack while you’re there, too.
I hope you are enjoying your Sunday evening! I’ll be back again tomorrow (shocking!) with another card featuring some of my favorite retiring products. Stay tuned!
