Sorry I’ve been somewhat MIA this week… between thumbing through the pages of the new 2009-2010 Stampin’ Up Idea Book and Catalog (Yipee!), making 10 wedding card swaps for my monthly swap club and planning for a workshop next week, things have been a bit busy. PLUS I got the first box of my sneak peek items from the new catalog and I’m dying to play with that stuff, too! I’m telling you it’s just calling my name from the box… Jen, play with me, play with me! ;o)
Today I’ll share a bit of crafty goodness and hopefully in the next few days I’ll be able to post a few samples including some of some sneak peek items from the new catalog (which will be released to customers July 1). More about the new catalog in a future post… so stay tuned.
In the meantime this is the swap I did for our monthly convention swappers. We all connected at convention last year and decided to a monthly swap for one year. This month’s theme was wedding.
You can’t really see it in the picture, but I mixed clear embossing powder with irredescent ice embossing powder so the cake has some dimension and sparkles with glitter. (I used Bravo Burgandy craft ink to emboss).
