Good morning! Just a quick post today as I’m running a bit behind already and I have a loooong day ahead of me!
But as promised, I wanted to share another project created using some new Summer Mini Catalog products. Don’t forget the catalog goes live on Saturday, May 1.
This card is so not my usual color combos. I actually took the colors from some pillows in a Pottery Barn photo … and I like how it turned out.
It features the new Bouquet Bunch stamp set from the Summer Mini and lining up the topiary was a cinch with the new clear mount stamps. And I love the little tiny bird on the tag. There is an adorable tiny squirrel in the set, too that I’m dying to use, but he didn’t fit on the plant… he was just a tad too big.
Anyway, I digress. The background is a brand new textured embossing folder called square lattice and I think I’m in love (wink, wink). It adds such great texture to a card that I didn’t want to cover any of it up — hence the concentration of items in the center of the card — including the greeting.
I thought this would be a great get well card since it is so bright and cheery. I just added a few added details like the linen thread bow and the brad with the popped-up tag.
Bouquet Bunch also has a leaf “ball” for the top of the tree and also has a vase and some bunched twigs that are really cute. It’s a great value, too with eight stamps for just $10.95 in the clear mount style or $13.95 for wood mount.
Thanks for stopping in today. I will be back tomorrow with some more new stuff… but it may be a bit later than usual. Tomorrow is an earlier day than normal so I may not have time to play in the morning.
